Our Locations in Ottawa
We have several pick-up and drop-off locations in Hintonburg to serve our customers. Whether you are arriving by car, rail, walking or cycling, we have you covered.
These locations are all low-stress environments (little car traffic) where customers can give the bike a spin and have any questions answered before leaving Let's Go Cargo staff.
In addition, rent for three days or more, and we will bring the bike(s) to you withing a 5km radius of Hintonburg!
Location #1: Hintonburg Park

Our most popular pick-up and drop-off location is on Duhamel Street next to Hintonburg Park.
A low stress street to give your bike or trike a spin before heading off, or to let the kids head into the adjacent park to check out the playground or splash pad before or after your rental.
You will see us standing there with your bike(s) proudly wearing our Let's Go Cargo T-shirt!
Location #2: City Centre Ave.

Meet us at City Centre in front of Beyond The Pale Brewery to pick-up and drop-off your bike.
Here you will find lots of paid car parking and direct access to the Trillium pathway as well as the City Centre Ave cycling facilities. It's also a great spot to hang out to grab a bite to eat or get some refreshments after you drop off your bike(s).
You will see us standing there with your bike(s) proudly wearing our Let's Go Cargo T-shirt!
Location #3: Bayview LRT Station

If you are coming from another part of the City by LRT, or after arriving at Tremblay Station on ViaRail, meet us outside the turnstyles at Bayview LRT Station.
When you exit the station after getting off the train, we will be there with your bike(s) wearing our Let's Go Cargo! T-shirts.
This location is directly alongside pathways that will take you North, South, East or West with your bike rental.

What about bike helmets? While many of our customers choose to use their own bike helmets, we have stylish helmets available if you or your passengers need one. THESE NEED TO BE ADDED AT CHECKOUT. Please refer to the sizing chart at Thousand Helmets to ensure you and your passengers get the right size. Ontario and Quebec have helmet laws for electric assist bike users and children
-
Are your bikes suitable for customers with different mobility needs? While everyone’s needs differ, we try to provide models that work for as many customers as possible. Most of our bikes and trikes are electric-assist, step-through frame designs, and we can provide a step stool if that will help you or your passengers from getting into or onto our bikes (add it as an accessory at checkout). Our trike has enabled some customers to ride a bike for the first time (or in a long time), and others have been carried as passengers if they can’t pedal a bike.
-
How much do e-bikes and e-cargo bikes cost to rent? Our prices start at $70 for e-bikes, $85 for e-cargo bikes and $40 for traditional bikes for the day. We also have multi-day rental options and weekly options with discounted prices the longer you rent.

What are cargo bikes?Cargo bikes are specially designed bicycles and tricycles to carry cargo and passengers comfortably. They often have specially designed frames to handle the extra weight and smaller wheels to lower the center of gravity to make carrying more weight more comfortable for users. They also often have accessories and options to make them more useful for everyday life, such as large compartments for cargo/passengers, rain/sun canopies, and different seat configurations for children, adults, and pets. In our rental fleet, we have chosen only to use electric pedal assist bikes to make them more accessible to more customers. We like to say e-bikes replace car trips, but e-cargo bikes are car replacements - and are revolutionizing urban mobility.
-
